Fireworks Night in London (also called ‘Guy Fawkes Night’ and ‘Bonfire Night’) is an annual celebration held on November 5th (five days after Halloween) that remembers the audacious failed attempt of Guy Fawkes to blow up the Houses of Parliament with gunpowder and kill the English King, James I, in 1605.
